CardioTag is a portable Electrocardiogram (ECG) device that records cardiac signals and wirelessly transmits them to a mobile app for real-time monitoring. The system uses a TI MSP430 microprocessor with an analog front-end module to capture ECG data from patient leads, stores readings on an SD card, and connects via Bluetooth to a companion mobile app for data review and device configuration. The device also functions in standalone mode through integrated controls.
Built by a 4-person team (Lebentek) during my Computer Engineering degree. I owned the Bluetooth module logic and programming, implemented the physical button interface and LED control logic, contributed to the hardware architecture design, created all renders, mockups, iconography and diagrams, and supported testing across the system.
Team: Luis Torres (PM), Juan Gomez, Andres Cordero, and myself.
